Tailored Multidisciplinary Pathways for Patients
Over a year since the onset of the pandemic, the international scientific community has clearly recognized the importance of rehabilitation in restoring normalcy after COVID-19.
At Arsbiomedica, we construct pathways with a multidisciplinary approach designed to overcome all post-COVID multisystemic sequelae. Unfortunately, post-COVID users have cross-cutting needs related to the systemic complexity of the disease.
We have successfully combined and integrated the expertise of cardiologists, pulmonologists, internists, hematologists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and rehabilitators into modular “ad personam” pathways capable of restoring the patient to full physical efficiency. Our REHABILITATION PLANS are INDIVIDUAL and developed based on the patient’s clinical picture.
We also intervene successfully in high complexity cases to resolve COVID sequelae. For example, in post-intensive care COVID patients (with tracheostomy), we achieve fundamental recovery for the return to normalcy with the contribution of our Speech Therapy unit.
Our project’s strength lies in the teamwork capacity, which ENSURES a safe approach even with the most complex patients. The rehabilitation plan – progressive and modular according to needs – is structured with internist and psychological medical coordination, starting from a careful diagnostic process.
The process begins with a comprehensive cardiologic and pulmonologic evaluation supplemented, as needed, by laboratory analysis, blood gas analysis, chest CT scans, physiatric evaluations, and psychological/psychotherapeutic counseling.
Our rehabilitation department, unique in Rome, can safely provide all necessary treatment types: from water or gym rehabilitation to physiotherapy, both inpatient and outpatient or at home, always with a 1-to-1 operator-patient ratio.
