The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center at Arsbiomedica Clinic, located in the heart of North Rome, brings together a team of highly experienced professionals specialized in various areas of rehabilitation, constantly updating their skills. The team aims to involve professionals, each specialized in a particular rehabilitation field, to ensure that patients are entrusted to competent therapists tailored to their specific problem and condition.

In the care pathway, patients are comprehensively followed and evaluated according to a bio-psychosocial approach that considers not only the pathology but the PERSON as a whole. This perspective takes into account social, work-related, emotional, and relational aspects as contributing factors involved in the onset and maintenance of the condition. Ars Biomedica emphasizes the importance of the relationship between the healthcare professional and the patient. Therefore, individuals who need to start a rehabilitation process will be assigned to a single physiotherapist who will accompany them throughout the rehabilitation journey.

Placing the user and the therapeutic relationship at the center means promoting the therapeutic process as a shared experience that enhances self-efficacy, encouraging the discovery and activation of personal resources for functional recovery and healing.

Our Facility

At our rehabilitation center, the focus is on providing an exceptional patient experience. Our clinic’s core strength lies in its comprehensive rehabilitation services, designed with the patient at the heart of the project. The entire facility is crafted to offer comfort and relaxation, featuring bright, modern, and welcoming environments.

Our state-of-the-art physiotherapy and rehabilitation center includes a hydrotherapy pool, a fully equipped gym, a medical consultation room, and eight private treatment cubicles, each fitted with electric treatment beds to ensure maximum comfort and effectiveness of the therapy. To enhance the patient experience, the facility is equipped with an individual audio system throughout, including the gym, pool, and each private cubicle, allowing personalized music and sound.

Gymnasium: Our gym boasts cutting-edge equipment from Technogym, including treadmills, stationary bikes, and a horizontal leg press. We also have specialized apparatus like a leg-extension/leg-curl bench, a guided Smith machine, a rack with barbells and weights, and plyo-boxes for plyometric exercises. The gym features advanced tools such as a laser motion guidance system for motor learning exercises and Blazepod adjustable light systems for improving coordination, reactivity, and agility. Additionally, we have the Micro Fet 2 digital dynamometer for precise strength assessments, symmetrical parallel bars for gait training, a Swedish wall, and various other aids essential for optimal rehabilitation.

Hydrotherapy Pool: Our hydrotherapy area includes a main pool with three depth levels, maintained at a therapeutic 33.5°C, ideal for hydrotherapy exercises. We also have two additional vascular walking pools for Kneipp therapy, with the cold pool kept at 15.5°C and the hot pool at 35.5°C.

The main pool is a versatile space equipped with the latest amenities:

• Access via stairs and handrails for ambulatory patients.
• Electric hoist access for non-ambulatory patients.
• Three different depth levels (1.95m, 1.35m, 1.05m) for progressive and varied therapies.
• Cervical massage jets.
• Counter-current walking jets.
• Geysers from the pool floor.
• Adjustable hydrotherapy jets at various heights for personalized water massage.
• Ergonomic stainless steel wall handrails.
• Chromotherapy lighting for therapeutic ambiance.

The two Kneipp therapy pools feature a dedicated path for hot and cold walking, enhancing vascular therapy through temperature contrasts.
